The 17th COGNO Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), New Horizons, Novel Therapies, held from Sunday 14 to Tuesday 16 September 2025 at The Langham Gold Coast, Queensland, was a resounding success. The conference spotlighted cutting-edge treatments and innovative approaches to cancer care, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered outcomes.

The opening day was particularly well received, with attendees praising the focus on improving patient outcomes and the collective drive to find cures. The atmosphere was described as refreshing and inspiring, as researchers and clinicians shared their latest findings and therapeutic strategies.

Dr. Janet Schloss, IMMUNE-12 researcher at Southern Cross University, presented abstract A46JZAJ549 on the IMMUNE-12 trial for Glioblastoma patients. Her contribution drew significant interest.  The promotion of IMMUNE-12 at the meeting marked an important milestone in advancing novel GBM treatment option for one of the most challenging brain cancers.
